4. LIMITATIONS

HOW TO CREATE A SUCCESSFUL YEAR


We have an incredible talent of sabotaging ourselves. Have you noticed as soon as a new opportunity arises in your life, or as soon as you have made a decision to "change", there is almost magically a doubt that appears in your mind, a new fear, which compels you to stay in your usual comfort zone. So, we all know all too well that we have to eat healthily,

to move and breathe to be on form; we know we need to limit sugar, bread and alcohol to lose weight; we know that we have to spend less than we earn; we know we have to say NO to too much distraction; we know we have to practice yoga every day ... and yet suddenly there is this invitation to a party or to go shopping with a good friend that we can not say no to ... the Universe immediately tests our decision.


Our brain also has the tendency to see everything that is wrong in our life, where we have not yet succeeded, completed, accomplished, learned, mastered ... and we forget to give ourselves credit for everything we have achieved.


Nothing will destroy your self-confidence, your respect for yourself and your ability to grow in your life than DOUBT of yourself. Doubt of yourself is the poison that you administer

yourself on a daily basis.


So at work:


TASK # 1:

Write up to 10 achievements or successes, or things that you have learned or overcome in your life.

I often hear: ah, not much. We stop immediately and we think:

Did you learn to ride a bike? To swim? To cook? To ski? To speak another language? To plant flowers? Have you passed your bac? Do you have children? Did you move, change jobs, do you trade, are you married, have you (well) divorced, survived an illness ...? Everyone has done a lot of things. Go ahead, give yourself credit for all those "things" that bring you here today.

TASK # 2:

Write down your "failures". ALL that you consider to be "your failure". Write down at least 5 things that you consider to have "missed" in your life. (The usual answer: my driving licence but I got it at the second try! ...)

Now, consider how these failures helped make you WHO YOU ARE TODAY. Maybe you did not manage to get the degree that you coveted but that led you to choose another career that brings you happiness today. Maybe you've been dumped by a boyfriend, but this led you to your children's father today ...? Write down what lesson you learned from this "failure."

Ask yourself: Was it really a failure in my life or rather a part of my path?


TASK # 3:

Observe why you do not do what you want to do in your life or things you know you should do and yet ... Write down 3-5 things. Next, write your WHY NOT list? All these good rational and/or emotional reasons that keep you from taking action (I have no time, it costs too much, I do not have the will, it is useless, I am not good enough, I have not done XYZ yet, others will say ... )


What role plays in your Why Not?

- money

- success (you know we are often afraid to succeed ???)

- opinion of the others

- doubts

- family roles

- ideas received

- the lack of….

Now, take courage. Use your imagination and your internal resources and write down next to your Why Not list "HOW I CAN!".





In the course of my work I often hear complaints from my clients of why they can not do what they want to do or what they have to do. My answer is invariable. I sympathise AND I say:


MAGIC FORMULA TO OVERCOME YOUR DOUBTS-FEARS- LIMITATIONS Now that I've heard all the WHY NOT,

I want to hear HOW YES.

This is the most important passage in our own limitations and perception of ourselves and our abilities.

STOP BEING THE VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE AND BE THE ORCHESTRATOR OF YOUR OWN LIFE.

It's also a big step outside your comfort zone but above all remember - Miracles happen outside this comfort zone! ARE YOU READY FOR MIRACLES IN YOUR LIFE?

You can be happy, healthy and successful!!!

You can also "UPGRADE YOUR LIFE"!
